The College of Westchester is now offering an online statistics course for Fall I 2010, Spring I 2011, and Fall I 2011.

In this three credit course, students learn the basic statistical theory and application needed for:

  • sampling procedures
  • finding mean, median, and mode
  • finding variance and standard deviation
  • graphing histographs and bell curves
  • how statistics are used in the business world and in the media

Knowledge of statistics is a very valuable skill to have in the business world, allowing you to be a more desirable job candidate.
