A new Gallup study recently showed that Americans’ perspective on online education has shifted as these programs become more prevalent. According to the report, more people in the United States now see these programs as a viable alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar campus learning environments. Their trust in these learning styles has grown with their increased acceptance. More U.S. adults, 37% (up from 30% in a 2011 survey), now agree or strongly agree that these institutions offer high-quality education. American business leaders’ perception of online education has also improved.
